Re: Trouble with LabRadar
Yes, doppler is covered in the manual as being the second choice due to the distance where it get's picked up. Too, the smaller the bullet diameter the less area to reflect the signal so it's "lost" closer to the unit than a larger caliber, again, in the manual. The only reason I mention t...

Re: Trouble with LabRadar
I recently experienced that with subsonic rimfire out of a rifle length barrel. I didn't take the time to solve it but If I had I would have used the doppler trigger. Next time at the range it's going to count so I'll get it to work. My biggest issue is to remember to shut off the Bluetooth in the t...

Re: Magazines
Precisely. My mags are also marked but I also go as far as never having .223/5.56 and 300BLK out at the same time. I try to never even shoot them at the range on the same day. It's like having 20 gauge and 12 gauge in the same shotgun vest.

Re: Looking for load info.
I use the Hi-Tech coating and apply it wet. It couldn't be easier. I'd be willing to bet you can also dissolve your coatings in acetone the same as I do and apply it wet. Just do some online research to find out how to do it but it's not difficult. The link cplxmc supplied has instructions for Hi-Te...

Re: Adding Holographic or red dot to 300 bo
I used a LPVO for decades in dense Maine forest on running deer in close quarters and I never missed. I'd set my scope to 1x and it was like a video game that I couldn't lose. But I had years of practice. OK, I'm not going to make a friend here, but could it be a training issue and not a technology ...

Re: "New" 2015 pistol
Good that it has a can otherwise you'd be able to take flash photos with it! That's gotta thump w/o the can attached!

Re: How far can you shoot subs?
Still getting the gear sorted out for the .22 version. I shot the T-Bolt today and accuracy was very good with SK semi-auto loads. Tiny 5 shot groups at 25 yards where I sighted in. But due to the scope mount I also got lots of ejection malfunctions. That won't do. So the scope is now on the alterna...

Re: Looking for load data 200 GR subs
That's interesting stuff (at the links) Deliet.
It also might explain some of the things I've seen with the subsonic loads I developed years ago. Since my 300BLK subs aren't craved in stone I should be able to get more out of them.

Re: Looking for load data 200 GR subs
Hank55, let's back up... Are your bullets FMJ (full metal jacket, meaning a copper jacket with lead inside) and coated, or are they lead, no jacket, but coated? I'm betting the latter since you seem to have bought them and no manufacturer in their right mind would coat a copper jacketed FMJ. Thanks ...

Re: Looking for load data 200 GR subs
I guess I don't understand why you'd need to be subsonic to put the can on. Clearly I'm missing something. I would be more concerned about bullet stability before adding the can. If you mean so that you can hear the supersonic crack or not, again bullet stability is what I'd want. A chrono' is best ...
