Re: 300 blackout pistol upper

I wouldn't shoot a bear creek armory anything if my life depended on it. My son bought an upper from classic. The barrel was chambered short. And the funny thing is, they even sent 3 steel case empty cartridges showing it was test fired. That was a lie. There is no way it would have fired any of the...

Re: Stamp question

I do know a guy that had all six pages of each form in his gun case for his SBR & can. I think that is over kill, but everyone has their own life to live. Yeah, that is just stupid in my opinion. Especially since some of those pages are duplicates, and the remaining are just instructions and de...

Re: Stamp question

I just keep a reduced size photocopy of my approved form for the gun in the grip of the gun. I do have a small pouch with a piece of paracord through it that has copies of all of my tax stamps that I often take up to our range with me. But I've never been asked for anything. I know that I have heard...

Re: Subsonic 6 ft. impact

You're right.

But at some point, you would have to start to question things too. Or, at least I would.

How many of their employees were arrested according to the reports for having false papers?

More than 2 dozen?

Nothing unusual about that at all.

Re: Subsonic 6 ft. impact

Yeah, 6-8 ft of rise is not increased pressure. I tend to agree with the other folks. Get you a guide rod and put in the bore and through the suppressor one baffle at a time starting at the muzzle and see what you are either: A. Hitting B. Almost hitting and is causing bullet destabilization. I'm no...

Re: Anyone loading for 9x39 yet?

I got finished with the load testing and workup in the 3 bullets that I have been working with. The 9x39 is a really fun round. The N310 powder is a lot slower velocity than I liked, so other than loading a few for plinking and target practice and playing around with, I'm going to stick with the Tit...

Re: Can you have fliers with a suppressor without a strike?

Uneven gas deflection will affect the bullet. Especially if the bullet is almost coming into contact with anything. I'm expecting this is probably a form 1. Which many people don't do exactly well in the first place and often with insufficient tools. If you are seeing copper, you're getting a rub an...

Re: Important Primer question concerning suppressors

You didn't drop the ball. Not at all. Life happens. We both know that. No way I could be upset over that. I have been running it without the gas block. Yesterday was the first time that I fired the gun with it. The velocities are certainly much lower both ways. I am hoping to go shoot the 8.1 gr loa...

Re: Important Primer question concerning suppressors

Currently, I am at 7.8 gr sitting underneath of a 254 gr; long all copper bullet. Getting about 985 fps. I really need to send you a PM concerning the bullet, but that's all that I am at liberty to say at the moment. No pressure signs. No flat or bulging primer. Extraction is still easy with the man...
