Booster on Pistol ONLY?
I'm in the market for a pistol can. Obviously I need a recoil booster for running on a 9mm (1/2X28 Thread). Question... Do I NEED to buy a fixed mount to shoot the same can on a fixed barrel, like a Ruger 10/22 also threaded to 1/2X28? Can I just leave the pistol booster on and shoot it, understandi...

Re: Barrel Profiles, does it really matter?
It can matter. Colt changed the M4 profile to heavier after users complained of overheated barrels while doing full auto for hundreds of rounds. And for precision rifles, the barrel can walk more as it heats up if it is thinner. For me - I want the lightest profile. I like the Steyr Scout. I made A...

Re: point of impact shift?
At what yardage, and how long/thick is the barrel on the 10/22". Long/thin barrel profiles droop and "whip" more with the weight of a suppressor on the end. Thick/stiff/short barrels droop and whip less. Lighter cans cause less droop. If you watch a rifle barrel in super slow-mo, you ...

Re: Omega Testing. What do you all want?
Teaser results... The Anchor Brake works amazingly well on 5.56. It noticeably softened the recoil and made a 5.56 feel more like a 300BLK. Smoother more prolonged recoil and less jerk. Really interesting stuff... Generally speaking, for dB reduction the Omega ranked between the Saker and Specwar. ...

Re: a neat way to conceal a gun room
I can't wait to build my own house... Most of my walls and door will be sliding. I'll be able to open/close most areas to make a 1500sqft house FEEL like it's much bigger. Plus it will have his and hers walk-in closets. My walk-in closet will be concrete block with a reinforced steel-clad door, and...

So close... I can touch it, but shooting it??
My Form 3 cleared, and my SilencerCo Omega is at my FFL/SOT... who is a client and friend. Five miles from my house. The problem is, the poor bastard works 80 hours per week, and hasn't been to the range in a year! So I'm trying to get him to come shoot with me, and bring MY can... Of course, he has...
