The sound is what I figured. I have shot a .45 ACP (sub-sonic) in a approx 15x15 room without a can and was in a smaller room when a 12 ga was touched off. Can't hear a thing. In fact can't hear a thing for a couple days. Definitely not like TV or the movies.

I’d take a 30 cal most anything over all but a few .223. I think the popularity of the 22 in the military influences many. They have to carry theirs.

I would consider once fired, with references. Last time I tried looked like range pickup with a shovel, then sold by weight. Had .40 mixed in. Many were stepped on.
