According to Lancer, who I like, they increased the rib clearance for increased reliability.A Boy Named Sue wrote:Lancer is making 300 BLK specific mags. Why... I have no idea, since the regular L5AWM's work fine with everything. I'm guessing marketing. But they have discontinued colors, I know the ODG ones are no more.

Re: 300 Blackout Newbie Alert
1st post, but I've been lurking a bit. Good to see a fellow lefty on board; I just put together a 9" 300 black, used the KAK MR. Blond in 416 SS. You already bought a stag lefty upper, but another option is the RedX Arms L upper and BCG. I've yet to put many rounds through the barrel, but it a...

Thank you. I've learned.Freedom1973 wrote:Welcome to the forum!
It's nice to see people ask questions first before buying a bunch of stuff then complaining about why it doesn't work.
There is a ton of information and good people here to discuss things.
Glad to have you.

Re: 300 Blackout Newbie Alert
Thanks. I'm sure that BA 8.5" is more than gtg for my needs. I'm now leaning toward the BA 9" (Modern series). Possibly the KAK 9" "Mr. Blonde". The KAK is 3.5oz lighter and 20.00 more. Found a decent (not great) deal on a Stag lefty upper and bcg yesterday. Ordered it from ...

Re: Hiperfire triggers
I too was intrigued by the "toggle spring" concept there I bit. I've had the 24C for over a year now on my little M&P 15-22. Runs flawlessly, no light strikes, and appears very well built. Purchased early November 2017. Got it on sale from Primary Arms for 179.99. Arrived in 2 days. I ...

Re: 300 Blackout Newbie Alert
Depends on what you are calling a "stopper". Sounds like you're not shooting subs, If that's the case, an inch won't matter enough to worry about at 50 meters. With subs and no suppressor, the extra barrel will be a bit more reliable for cycling, but wouldn't worry about that below 8"...

Re: 300 Blackout Newbie Alert
Thanks. Trying to "force" myself to go right-hand. Generally more affordable and much more available. I'm now giving 8.5" / 9" equal consideration. Thanks again.
