Re: Midway has no hazmat fee on over $150 of CCI primers til 10/29 !
I suppose that's OK for retail buyers. About 50% more than what I pay for primers. I thought we already discussed this, Walter...repeatedly...and again...please stop posting these kinds of statements, they are just you being an ass... Someone takes the time to share a good deal (at least for us mor...

Re: What bullet do I use to reload .300BLK (newbie) .....
for subsonic stick with 200-220 grain bullets - powder coated is fine, jacketed works well too. Just wondering why the 200-220gr and not say down to 190? In general it is easier to get the heavier subs to be subsonic more accurately with the available powders while cycling in the AR platform. The l...

I suppose that's OK for retail buyers. About 50% more than what I pay for primers. You aren't getting CCI primers for half Midway's price. I might have bought a few thousand but they didn't have any A1680 or H110 in stock to really make use of the free hazmat. What primers do you use? I was thinkin...

Re: AAC 762 SDN6
When you mount the suppressor, do you tighten in until it stops or do you go to the last reasonable tooth then back it off so it is tight against the last tooth? Tighten until it stops, then back against the last tooth that caught. Ok. Not sure why you are experiencing those results. I have used my...

Re: As Maine goes so goes the nation...
So Maine now allows hunting with a suppressor. Yeah! BUT...you have to fill out an application and pay yet another $12 and it is still illegal to hunt with an SBR which kinda takes the fun out of having one. Nothing less fun than walking around with a 2 lb, 8 inch appendage hanging off the end of m...

Re: Removing Rockset 51T Blackout flash hider?
Which is why you use Rockset on a barrel.WalterGA wrote:I'm using thread-on suppressors. However, if I decide to go with the quick-release/flash hider route in the future, would either 642 (sleeve retainer) or 271 Loctite work, in lieu of Rockset? Either could be removed with heat.

Don't use it! It ruined my barrel http://www.300blktalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=140&t=96405 How are you certain it was the ammo? Did you disassemble any of the remaining ammo? How many rounds have you shot through this gun prior to this ammo? 220g subsonics are not exactly on the ragged edge ...

Re: Need alternative subsonic load for Sierra 220's
Can't get A1680 in my area currently. I need powder/load suggestions for a subsonic load utilizing Sierra MatchKing 220 gr HPBT. I know I can get H110, Lil Gun, Reloader 7 and some others. I'm shooting an AR with a Noveske 10.2 barrel (pistol length gas system) and an AAC 762-SDN-6. Looking for a l...
