9" has the advantage of with a can should be right around 16". 12" will have slightly more velocity.

I have the 9" version and its a wonderful gun, one of my favorites. For what you get its a excellent value- knights rail, geissele trigger, awesome barrel, AAC muzzle device, Magpul furniture, & NiB bolt carrier group to Robert's spec.

Suppressed i clean them often because the work grows quickly and expeditiously. Unsuppressed, not often at all. Maybe every 700 to 1k. On a non suppressed AR, I just wipe down the BCG and charging handle.
