don't know about converting Mac mags to Uzi but if you can don't rule out grease gun mags. by cutting or filing the grease gun mag locking dimples down a little I have converted grease gun mags to work in my .45 Mac 10. grease gun mags are a lot cheaper than Mac 10 mags and probably more availiable.
