If light cleaning is driving your requirement, why not put up the Barrett and use the proceeds to buy a PWS Mk 109 upper? PWS is one of the best piston OEMs in the AR market. As long as you're running unsuppressed, cleaning is a breeze.

According to the interviews, they say the decision to use the Creedmoor name is what drove the use of 8.6, to match the other metric Creedmoor cartridges. So we can at least explain that part.
