Things are going to dry up even more for a while for sure. Good news for Hornady, but puts us non-military customers in a tight spot.

Re: Hornady Sub-X Subsonic vs. Sub-X TAP?
Yeah, a year ago I was paying right about $19/box. Should have bought more; better investment return than my mutual funds! Gotta love that Tactical Ammo Price. If you buy a case it comes with sun glasses and voucher for a free virtual class on when it's proper to do a Tactical nod. Buy two cases an...

Re: Optics
Yeah, I can imagine you do! I've done that before too so as not to spoil a great group. But at some point you're going to have the prove the accuracy for yourself. It would eat at me to know what it's actually doing. I'd need to fire 5-10 round group. 1 1/2 months until the weather gets to the poin...

Re: Optics
The Swampfox lineup looks intriguing, especially at the price point. Anyone done any tracking testing on the adjustments?

Re: 9" Integrally Suppressed Barrel
No problem Jack.
I think you’l have a hard time finding a 9” overall length barrel that includes a suppressor. Keep us posted on what you find.

Re: Optics
Hey CW,
I put a Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18 on my RARR, which is also in the boyd’s stock. More than enough magnification for anything I’ll ever do with the 300blk, and at $350.00 it is a good deal.

Re: 9" Integrally Suppressed Barrel
I think in any integrally suppressed barrel you will have an actual barrel with the rifling cut into it, and the suppressor/baffle stack at the end of it. Suppressed Weapon Systems does this, and their shroud that covers the baffle stack runs all the way to the rear of the barrel. But there is still...

Re: Conceptual problem with 300 blackout
Realistically, 1.5 at 100 yds is ok for a hunting rifle, although we’d like to see better sometimes that is the best it’ll do. Mine does an inch on a very good day, but usually in the inch and a quarter to half range. But the subs, damn! They should do better. A couple thoughts; 1- Check your suppre...
