Re: Cheap Savage Axis for conversion at Dick's!
Good buy. But I refuse to buy anything from my neighborhood Dick's because the will not sell "modern sporting firearms" due to not being politically correct. It's not just your neighborhood store, it's a company policy enacted days after Sandy Hook. I wouldn't buy water from them if I was...

Re: Driving Through Maryland - Beware
Interesting.....alot of states dont put CCW holders into the system. Colorado removed them all from the CCIC database about 3 years ago. The only way to verify a CCW here is to physically call the issuing agency and have them manually search their records. I've been asked several times during traff...

Re: Suppressed Rifle or SBR with Suppressor?
Or just have your 10" cut to 8.5, and send it in to Liberty for a nice Leonidas. That's the exact route I took after CMMG came out with the new line of barrels that are skinny behind the gas port. Luckily, Aero Precision stepped up with a nice heavy barrel, just a bit too long.

Re: Dedicated 300 Blackout Load Data using Alliant PP 300-MP
One thing that gets left out sometimes is what type of rifle the data is for. I've got parts over at Liberty for a Leonidas, so I'm looking for loads that will cycle. If 300MP will do that, awesome, because I'm having no luck with it in my 357 and have almost a full pound to burn with no 1680 in sig...

Bulgarian AKs are just as good as Saiga made models. Expensive ones are at Arsenal, cheap ones that take forever to show and then rust are at Lancaster.

So the general agreement is that every aspect was approached from a KISS point of view?

Re: Why did the 300Blk stick with the 5.56 case body?
Derp! I knew that, then I forgot. Ok, so mag capacity aside (the 458 also uses mil-spec mags, although you lose about 66% capacity) would it have been possible to make the body a bit larger, drop mag capacity by 4 or 7 rounds, and achieve a more powerful round, or would you still run into chamber st...
