Re: Subs/Supers POI Question
Barrel length does not affect accuracy, it affects velocity. I run the Rainer Arms match 8.5 and it is very accurate. That vendor did choose to use a 1:8 twist instead of the 1:7 that AAC standardized on. Longer heavier subs "should" actually benefit from that twist rate. I think you have...

Re: Dillon XL 650 Accessories Recommendations
1) When starting, you have to charge the primer wheel with 6 pulls.. Annoying.. It takes a few seconds to cycle the rotary primer disc, I don't consider that annoying at all. 2) Without a case feeder (or a helper!), you can quickly get into a rhythm which causes one to lose track of how many shell ...

Re: Dillon XL 650 Accessories Recommendations
thats kinda why i like having a basic powder cop with the o-ring. you get a solid idea every charge whats going on, its not just a yes/no tester. You can essentially do the same thing with the Dillon powder check, visually watching where the point on the buzzer housing meets up with the V in the ro...

Re: Dillon XL 650 Accessories Recommendations
Case feeder for sure with a 650, not much point in having a 650 without one IMO. I like the roller handle, inline fabrication light kit, upgraded deprimer catch and live primer catch. A powder check die helps, but the intent is to tell you that you have no charge or a double charge. It's just not t...

Re: I need a little help loading for a noveske
It sure makes a lot of sense if you want your ammo to work in a number of different guns. I make .223 and 300BLK ammo and if it fits the respective Sheridan gauge, it works in all my respective guns.Alex Wilson wrote:You need to make a cast of your barrel or just measure a fired case from it.

Re: Follow up on Swage It swager
It just never ceases to amuse me how little it takes to flush the control freaks out of the woodwork! Fine with me if the mods merge the two threads. Fine with me if folks keep using those bench-mounted swagers! 8) I consider it more "common sense" and "common courtesy"...

However the design, you just have to make certain you have a barrel and anything attached that is "permanent" and 16" or more in length.

Re: Follow up on Swage It swager
Can a mod merge the two threads into one?
