Re: BLK for 2012
I think he is talking about the 95 grain TSX bullet for the 6.8 that is much lighter than normal loads and therefore faster/flatter. Sort of like the light for caliber 35-40 grain .223 loads. Maybe a 100 grain for varmits that could be accurate out to 450-500? Paper punching or ground hog slaying. H...

Re: Brass Hog Brass recovery system Coming Soon!!!
Any progress on this? A new video of it in action would tide me over. Thanks.

Re: BLK for 2012
Thanks to Robert for all the work on the 300 BLK. Even though I will be rolling my own, I plan to buy loaded ammo because in the end, while more expensive, it will help with expanding demand for the best round out of an AR-15. An expanding subsonic would be awesome and yes, I'd buy a few boxes even ...

That's weird we are so close. I'm near Lancaster/Haysville. You bet. Ever get down to ARPC? I'm going to join soon.

Avatar help
My wonderful grandma died on Dec. 22. My family last visited her at her house this last summer and got a great shot of her with an AR on the handlebars of her scooter. It would make a great avatar but I can't get it sized properly. It was shot with a nice digital SLR type camera so the image is too ...

Re: Initial thoughts/shooting of the DSArms 300 Blackout upp
I'm really surpised that the difference in velocity is so close out of a 9" vs. 16" barrel. I'm not doubting it, just curious. I know for years people have claimed an avg of 50fps per inch of barrel but that doesn't fly as so many different bullets can be loaded to so many different veloci...

Re: MK109 PWS 300 blk upper
This is the exact upper that I am saving for. I just ordered a stripped lower to start the SBR build process. I saw this post so I just called and talked to PWS. They answered right away, I wasn't stuck in a phone tree. I have no experiance with PWS but that right there tells me a lot. Unlike Para O...

Re: Optic suggestions?
WileE, since it is a second focal plane reticle it will only be accurate at 4x (usually second focal plane reticles are this way, some are different) but with everything you just have to practice with your tools to make them effective. I've got a Millet DMS-1 scope which is true 1-4 and they have a ...

Re: Optic suggestions?
I'm saving for the build now (got a PWS lower on it's way then I'll get the Form 4 started for it to be a SBR). I think once I get the rifle built with flip irons, I'm going to stock up on lots of reloading components then get the optic I want. That way I can get used to the rifle using the irons. I...

Re: Initial thoughts/shooting of the DSArms 300 Blackout upp
I figured. That seemed fast for an SBR. Can someone point me to real numbers for about a 10" (I'm looking at a 9.5" PWS upper) for the 300 BLK? It seems like even though there are great numbers for a 16" 300 BLK upper, the point was to make it perform well for an SBR and I wonder abou...
