Re: 300 Blackout ammo suggestions for bad guys... and deer and hogs.

Check out Lehigh defense. Their Controlled Chaos is a great supersonic for light skinned game and their maximum expansion 194gr is a good all around hunting/self defense round. Well, I looked them up. $50 for a box of 20... Much rather spend $50 on a box of quality ammo then grab a box off th...

I use it exclusively for all calibers I reload. Never tumbled afterwards. Never had any issues

Re: 2nd Chargemaster 1500 - Dead. Now what do I do?

+1 for the Lyman Gen6. I used their beam scale with trickler for several years before I finally broke down and got a Gen6. It throws any powder I've used (pistol or rifle) and is accurate. I still check on my beam scale every 10th load or so just to make sure I'm where its supposed to be out of habi...

Re: Barnes 110 and Lehigh 110 out of the RARR

Yes, I tested both LilGun and W296 for both bullets. I did notice that the Lehigh was pretty inconsistent with the Lil'Gun. In fact, I didn't bother shooting the last 5 at 20.5gr because the results weren't desirable the more I shot. I was only waiting probably 5-8 minutes in between groups and onl...

Barnes 110 and Lehigh 110 out of the RARR

Just a quick post about some range results from the other day. I worked up some of the Barnes 110 And Lehigh 110 controlled chaos bullets from 17.5gr to 20.5gr in .5gr incriminates with Lil'Gun and W296. I shot 5 shot groups off of sand bags at 75 yards (previously zeroed with factory Barnes). After...

Re: turkey hunting

Yes its legal here in va. What factory load would u recommend? I was thing of using a heavy sub load. Because they have so little meat it seems to me that a 30 cal projectile at super speeds would make a large exit wound thus destroying alot of the edible part of the animal. But i could be totally ...

Re: Primer testing

Following this. Good info here. I only use 450's, but that's because I bought around 5-6000 when I started loading 6.5 Grendel. They have always performed well for me
