Re: 300 Wilson Ham’r
...it has around 250-300 f/s advantage over the 300 BLK in all bullet weights in the supersonic venue. I guess the question is, do you find these statements true Same barrel length, same pressure, with any super bullet? Nope. Not even close. Possibly with a short, light bullet which can't be loaded...

Re: 300 Wilson Ham’r
djones, I have been looking into the 300 HAM'R, as, according to the data from Wilson and people who have reviewed the cartridge and the rifles in which it was offered, seem to agree that it has around 250-300 f/s advantage over the 300 BLK in all bullet weights in the supersonic venue. Many claim t...

Re: Thanks to the forum boss
I will also say thank you. I e-mailed RS yesterday to let him know what was happening when I tried to use the site, and he got right back to me and seems to have corrected it. Thanks again.

Re: Question for Glock guys
For the benefit of anyone reading this thread, here is a great review of the revolver suggested after the reviewer used it in the application I am after for 3 years and around 1000 rounds: https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2015/05/01/sw-329pd-lightweight-44-long-term-review/ It weighs slightly le...

Re: All about air temp- speed of sound
Air temperature affects the density of air. Colder means thicker air, hotter means thinner air. Thick air, higher velocity for mach 1, thinner air, lower velocity for mach 1. Humidity also affects SOS, making air thicker or thinner, as does altitude. Higher humidity, thicker air, lower humidity, thi...

Re: Snake protection boots
No, standard Muck boots are NOT "snake proof ". Even boots sold as "snakeproof" are not totally so. I used to live and hunt in NE FL, directly across the St. Mary's River from GA, so have a good familiarity with the product. Snake boots will protect from snake bites, but they are...

A rubber band placed around the mag well and behind the trigger will do the same thing as a bump stock with a much smaller expenditure of funds. One may place the band around the trigger, in front of the mag well and back around the trigger, or cut the band and retie it, or push out one pin in the t...

Re: Reloading help! 125 and 150 grains
Hornady's only has their bullets in it, which is the drawback of any bullet MFG produced manual. Lyman's 50th would be my choice. I only have the 49th (no 30blk) but it's my go to. Agree 100%. I have Lyman's 48th, and 50th, as well as Hornady's 10th, and Sierra's newest with updates, and the Lyman ...

I'm going to try it on my Model 7. It has a lightweight barrel, so a lighter can may help its accuracy some.

Re: 5/8-24 Ti-Rant 45 adapter
Thanks. I will go there ASAP. It will be nice to use two cans on my 300 BLK rifles, as the Ti Rant doesn't see as much use as the Sig. Also nice to save 15 bucks.
