Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout

My dealer called this afternoon and said he finally got one for me, price will be $399+ tax making it about $420 out the door. I was hoping for a little better price as I've seen them out of stock online several different places for ~$360, but I'd only save $30-$40 tops after transfer fees and who k...

Re: Range day Ruger American RANCH 300 BLACK

I dumped them in a lil plastic drawer years ago. ::) But the bullet is the Hornady 150 Spire PT Flat base hunting bullet. I have loaded a couple more/different loadings to try. Wanted to go today but there was a match pre scheduled so I could not.. I am trying the Hornady 160FTX made for the 30-30 ...

Re: "Best Price on the new Ruger American Ranch 300 BLK" THR

But... all production rifles already come with stocks for midgets. Compact models confuse me. Is that for people with a LOP that is less than 0? I'm 5'8", broad shouldered and exclusively run stocks with a 12.5" LOP. ARs, bolt guns, levers, doesn't matter. Personal preference.

Re: New AP bullet for 300 BLK

Can't say that I'll ever do business with a company that won't sell a bullet to private citizens regardless of the nature of the round. That's a bummer because some of their pills looked really good and I was going to try some once I start reloading. If they change their mind I may of course change ...

Re: Silencerco Harvester

SIlencershop is $550, plus you can add a Spectre II for $99. Yeah, I fell for that deal. I only bought it a month or so ago, so haven't shot it yet. From everything I've heard it looks to be great on a 300aac, assuming you're not doing a couple mag dumps. I think it'd be fine for say a 10rd splatte...

Re: Has anyone weighed their 7.5-8.5" builds?

Is she adverse to muzzle blast? 300 in a short barrel isn't exactly quiet compared to a 22 unless you were gonna run it suppressed. Maybe a 9mm carbine instead? Thanks for the response. I failed to specify that I'd be using this in conjunction with a Silencerco Harvester. I have a suppressed .22 bo...

Has anyone weighed their 7.5-8.5" builds?

As the title implies I'm just curious how much a typical .300BLK pistol/SBR weighs... I know there are a broad range of variables that go in to it but I'm just looking for ballpark numbers. Specifically, I'm wondering if it's possible to build one and have it come in under 5-1/2lbs empty using a sli...
