I also use imr4227 with 190gr bullets. Its quiet and the powder is easy to find.

What bullet are you using in that picture?

Here in AZ open carry is common. I usually always conceal carry but when going out into desert I always open carry to and from.

What everyone else said, lil gun will do that when compressed. Dont aim for those velocities regardless of the powder or bullet, they are high.

I found using Autocomp powder with 180gr bullets is on top for being quiet with what I have tested in .40cal in a glock 22 and ospery .45. I would think someone making a point on staying away from max loads and exaggerate loading to accuracy and not to velocity.

Maybe pick atleast one of each type of caliber, like small rifle up to magnum and just show the difference in powder levels and such.
