Re: Firefox Doesn't Take Me Here
I am now using Firefox to respond to your post. Firefox has been my browser since their early offering and is now one of the better browsers in some respects. Your issue can be multi layered and beyond my savvy to assist, perhaps a more tech answer would be to contact Firefox.

Re: Spent case damage
The stick on inner tube patches work very well, cut to size, peel and stick. Hundreds of rounds later it still hangs on

Re: ATF notice of arm brace vs SBR
At this point the 'Notice Letter' does not have the force of Law, however there are so many ways listed that it would be a case by case basis for any kind of enforcement. Some think this was leaked, written in this manner for a heads up. Sold mine off months ago. Honestly, most shooters do the 'inci...

Re: the Covid got me
Dang it man, glad to hear you are on the mend! I have asbestos related lung junk and some dust allergies, so I try to be cautious. Part of my routine is taking a vitamin D/D3 and zinc supplement. So far so good, been tested twice before a recent knee surgery. Here's wishing a peaceful and healthy Ho...

Re: Conceptual problem with 300 blackout
First thing you need to do is make certain the barrel isn't touching the stock channel. Remove the stock, use a closet hanger sized dowel wrapped in medium grit sand paper to work back and forth in the barrel channel. The stock usually touches near the end when loading a bipod. I have two of these r...

Re: Replicating the Barnes 110 gr. VOR-TX 300 Blackout Factory Load
Nicely done, mostly duplicates some of my own experience! I have done a few similar tests with 300MP and found it to be just a bit better in ES and SD numbers. Accuracy has been pretty good. I weigh and measure necks of each piece of brass when experimenting with loads on the max side of the curve. ...

Re: Why the eyes??
Yep, those feathered beasts like to get the nice juicy stuff first, then come back after some tenderizin' takes place and some other beast has opened things up for them to readily devour. However the Osprey seems to prefer fresh fish or small game like ground squirrels. They will seldom pick up one ...

Re: Looking for a better powder measure
Easily the simplest method is a under charge throw into your scale pan and then trickle in the final few grains for accuracy. This was pointed out above. For load development of 50 or less rifle or pistol charges with any powder, I use the simple plastic LEE measuring scoops to get close and tap the...

Re: 90lb NC White tail Doe harvested with 190gr Hornady Sub x.
Thanks for the pics. Your shot was just right as Dellet pointed out. I had intended to go North of Dellet for some Whitetail Rut action and use that same bullet in the bolt gun but I broke a chunk out of my right knee cap a couple months ago. It just got to the point of needing to be cut out, been l...

Re: Identification of projectile
You didn't mention the quantity, but I would pull apart at least 5 rounds and weigh the brass, powder charge and bullets. If all are the same head stamp and appear to be not yet been fired then note all that. You may be able to determine which powder it is if you have access to some of the likely on...
