Help With Mid-range 86gr RN Load

http://i.imgur.com/lcBqZZO.jpg I've been playing around with the Hornady 86gr RN for .30 Mauser for awhile in my CVA single shot. At subsonic velocities it punches thru every water bottle I have--probably ~36" of bottles and exited. That was with 3.8gr of Unique. http://i.imgur.com/VfATZk0.jpg...

Re: muzzle device for a 300 pistol upper...what's everyone like

As like flash suppressor or muzzle brake? I did a lot of research on a lot of both myself before I even have my 300BLK pistol in hand. I ended up buying a Seekins Precision three prong flash suppressor that does not need a crush washer or timed. I guess it could also double as a bayonet of sorts. $...

Re: 90gr plinking from Barnes

I think he is just saying he wants something for less money to also be available, and it doesn't have to be match-grade. S&B 115 grain may be that ammo. A quick search on Ammoseek shows several companies selling for ~ $.50/round or $10 a box. It's out there if you want cheap ammo. It struck me ...

Re: 90gr plinking from Barnes

That 120gr UMC/Barnes load is probably the best shooting bargain factory ammo around. 1/2" 100yd groups for me. Try to find any other 'Murican! made ammo in any other caliber that shoots that good for that price. I reload but still value mfgs that are making a quality product like this. Don't k...

CW
They must have changed that a couple hours ago. Showed up at $249 earlier for me, $299 now.

CW, have you thought about sending one of your H&Rs to the factory to have a 300BLK barrel fitted?

Re: CVA V2 Range Report w/ Pics

Great shooting! I am looking for one of these myself... I would love to find a camo version, but the blk stocks like yours look good too! CW Thanks duder! This thing really surprises every time I shoot it. I read about the caliber, reloading it, problems etc before buying it. I figured I'd be happy...

Re: Single shot light subs sticky

I guess we're using this thread for discussion and the sticky will only get load data? Glad to see the 120gr bullets working out. I loaded some 86gr today and shot a ladder set out of my CVA V2 3.2gr (1.1" group with sooty brass--didn't seal chamber) 3.5gr(vertical stringing 2.5") 3.8gr 1/...
