Re: Low mass vs full mass question
With the JP low mass BCG, adj GB and a JP SCS buffer you can get the action tuned specifically to the type of ammo you are shooting and it will be still reliable after getting fairly dirty, 3-400 rounds worth is about the max I have shot at any one time, I consider that reliable for my needs. Also i...

Re: Fox fun
Cool picture! They are fun to watch. We have a pair of red fox's that have a den about 200 yards from the house in a old gravel pit dug into the side of the mtn. I have spent more time watching them with the ATN HD X-Sight than using it for hunting coyotes! LOL They do help to keep the barn/feral ca...

Re: Barrel Incident-Looking for recommendations on possible new one.
Always, always use a barrel clamp when doing any muzzle device install or removal, sure it is a huge pain in the arse on a SBR to use but there is absolutely no excuse on a 16" rifle barrel! Sure reaction rods, BEV blocks and receiver clamps say they can be used, but DO NOT!!!!! Only use the pr...

Re: Barnes TAC-X vs TAC-TX
Is CTD a dirty word around here? For some people it is, they get their panties all twisted over CTD's style of capitalism(price gouging when supply is low and demand is high)during the past few panic buys. It doesn't bother me a bit, I just wait until demand drops or production catchs up or it beco...

Re: A5 or Carbine recoil system for 16" Rifle
NOTE: The A5 Receiver Extension Buffer Tube is just One Piece of the proprietary Vltor A5 Recoil System and MUST ONLY be used with a Vltor A5 Buffer and a Standard Rifle Length Buffer Spring. Attempting to use this A5 Buffer Tube with an AR-15 Carbine Length Buffer Spring and/or Any Other Type of R...

Re: Barnes TAC-X vs TAC-TX
There are only 3 completely different 110gr .308 projectiles available from Barnes thru retail sites. The TAC series(30336/30358) is identical to the standard TSX and TTSX line(30341/30362) with the exception of the 300blk specific bullet (30321). And if you call Barnes they do have other .308 cal ...

Re: Brass smacking the deflector. Hard.
A pistol gas is going to be capable of being a tad more rough on the brass, but an adjustable gas block would be a great addition if you are primarily going to shoot supers. AND before you do anything place a piece of Velcro on your deflector, this will keep the deflector from getting torn up from t...
