Re: SBR DI - JP silent buffer - Standard or Heavy?
So....now the original poster can see why the JP customer service was unable to give him a 100% answer. There are MANY ways to tune. I did forget to mention that I also customized my JP SCS to fit within the LWRC UCIW compact stock. That is why I am running the lighter spring. I compressed the sprin...

Re: SBR DI - JP silent buffer - Standard or Heavy?
Unless there is another reason to want the heavier spring still with an adjustable block? Not with adjustable, no. With a little experimentation/testing you can probably go with a lighter spring. THIS is where I ended up. White (lighter) spring and adjustable gas block. 3 clicks on the gas block mo...

Re: SBR DI - JP silent buffer - Standard or Heavy?
Well I wish the answer was simple, but its not. The answer you got from JP is about as accurate as they can be. The reason they cannot give you a better answer is because there is still so much inconsistency between barrel manufacturers. There is no standardized gas port size. Then when you take int...

Re: Rainier Plated 300BLK Bullet
Berry's is WAY TOO TALL on that plated bullet. I have 3K Hornady 208 Match BTHP and 208 AMAX that I paid WAY LESS for. If that bullet was .20 cents I would still think it was a bit high......at .35 cents.....HECK NO.

Re: New 8.5", Suppressed Back Pack gun
You will LOVE the 8.5" SBR. For me its the best of the "super shorties". I have an 8.5" for ultimate compactness.....then a 12.5" when I want to stretch my legs. Barrel - 8.5" Noveske Navy Rail - Bravo Company KMR 7" Suppressor - GemTech G5 Stock - LWRC Ultra Compa...

The way I understand it, YES you will have to pay the $200 tax.....not worth it in my opinion.

Re: Sizing 220 gr Leatherhead bullets
I get better performance from .310" than from .309". I "polished" my .309" die until it opened up to .310".....surprisingly it didn't take that much effort.

Re: JP SCS Gen1 vrs Gen2
I am glad to see they finally made the swap to aluminum. I replaced the shafts on mine with aluminum about a year ago. It made them noticeably lighter. As for the weights......you should be able to "tune" with different weights. They make them in aluminum, steel and tungsten. I assume they...
