These work with 5.56 and 6.8 with the correct springs?

Re: Misery loves company... What NFA stuff awaits you?
... sigh ... Have three SBR Form 1s in and a Form 4 for an SWR Octane 9 HD2 ... that MAY clear before the end of the comment period. Also have Form 4s in for two Octane 45s that will probably be a month or two long for the end of the comment period. My Sheriff doesn't sign ... so may be in a major p...

Re: Latest Info:New NFA proposal 2 require CLEO cert on ALL
May be a good strategy for some. Will not work for all. The senior training officer of the County Sheriff's office is a good friend of more than 20 years. Have hunted Africa with him. Even his help is not enough to get the Sheriff to provide the CLEO endorsement. Have to look to other folks authoriz...

Re: Supressor suited for 300 blackout and 300 win mag?
The 30 cal SAS Titanium Arbiter can handles anything up to and including the 300 Win Mag. I have used one with 5.56, 6.8, 300 BLK, and .308 Win. Have seen effectively no change in impact point with carefully threaded barrels. Is amazingly quiet with subsonic stuff and hearing safe with the high velo...

Re: non 300 blk question
In 2006 I took a Cape Buffalo in Tanzania and a cow Bison in Texas. The Buf was a hunt and the bison was really a shoot. Had heard that Bison are not difficult to kill, but not so easy to kill quickly. So I went with the same rifle and ammo I used in Tanzania ... a .416 Rigby loaded with 350 gr Barn...

Can you tell us the barrel length of the upper and the caliber of the can?

Re: 300 Blackout Pistol with CMMG 8.5" barrel
Thank you VERY much for the information! Is very valuable to minimize the possible places for error. Intention is to use this upper with an Octane can for subs only. Am running a standard carbine buffer and spring. Using an M16 carrier and Stag bolt. Barrel has a TROS 3 lug adapter on it so that it ...

Re: 300 Blackout Pistol with CMMG 8.5" barrel
What gas tube did you use?
Might you please measure the exposure of the tube into the inside of the upper for me? I built an upper with that bbl and it is short stroking. Either the gas tube is a bit short, or the port is not big enough.
Thank you!

Re: New wave of 300BLK trolls???
gds, The primary theme of this thread was a "wave of new trolls" not a discussion of the original volley fire between the camps of last year. The 6.8 guys were indeed put out during that time by what I'd have to call "strident" interchanges. So was I to be honest ... because ther...

Re: is there any rounds that should not be fired thru your c
OUCH!
I think all of us check the cans hoping not to find marks like that ... even though we're careful and all that. Just part of the thing with expensive items that involve so darned much paperwork and hassle.
