Still worth it for the house gun to me, no plinking though, and I'll have to install an led in my lower to keep the tips charged.

I've formed all of ten cases so far, used the same dies but with the redding sizing wax. It worked, but effort was pretty high.

I don't see how could shorten the lifespan when you're really only doing it to seat the barrel but correct me if I'm wrong... I don't know about all that tightening and loosening of the barrel nut though. It's my understanding that every time you install/remove a barrel you're shortening the life of the upper.
