Re: Max effective range:

I thought they based the effective range of 5.56 at different barrel lengths by using velocity, not hit probability. Am I mistaken? I have no first hand information. Officially it's hit probability, not velocity or even terminal effects. Isn't it currently 500m point target and 800m area target? Fr...

Re: mk18-ish 300blk?

Im asking because im getting a 7.62SDN can to replace this M4-2000 and Im switching this barrel to 300 Blackout. I dont wanna replace with a 10.3 if the 7.62 SDN wont fit I hear you, if you are having Aaron make your barrel, I'd just make sure that the shoulder of the barrel is .25" past the e...

I know about milling the front rib, but a well made plastic with a thicker wall would be the best way to go. Anything ...

Re: mk18-ish 300blk?

Looking at your pics, i wonder if that's not actually a 10.5? I used to prototype and manufacture barrels for some of the bigger names out there. I know from experience that most barrels that are quoted at a certain length are not that length, it's more of a ball-park. Although it was uncommon, som...

Looking at your pics, i wonder if that's not actually a 10.5? Here's a couple 10.5's with RIS 2's. clearance is tight.
