I eventually needed the upgrade kit by Hazzbro.

My small wheels kept melting with the BLK. The upgrade worked really great. Now I can do 200-300 cases without eventual overheat.

Re: Case annnealer
I looked into mikes and it's made very well and looks great. It did need extra parts for BO, costs %50 more and is OOS.

Case annnealer
It's time for me to get one. The old torch, drill and 10mm socket just isn't going fast enough for me, especially since I rotate about 3K 300BLK cases at a time, Was thinking of making my own but I just don't have the time. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...Aj7xa0eX0/edit Now I think I'm going ...

Re: Seeking Experience DDM4 PDW
No hunting. Mostly plinking. I have looked at the BRN -180s too. They look nice. I cast and powder coat BO 220 gr subs and 155 gr. supers. It system stays pretty clean. Not as clean as jacketed bullets but not bad. Right now I can reload for about 6-8 cents a round. BO is cheaper for us shoot than 2...

Re: Seeking Experience DDM4 PDW
I have a factory DD SBR for about 9 years. It's pre DD unique furniture. I'm local to DD. It was bought as a MK18 but I sold the upper on day one never fired it. Put a few different 8" BO uppers on it. I have at lease 10K rounds on it, probably much more. I love it. I was considering buying the...

Re: Worth the risk to shoot cast through a can?
He casts and powder coats his own. I do too. If you reload it's very easy. If the bullet is powder coated, sized and loaded correctly, it should not be an much of an issue for subs.
In 6K+ rounds, my can has added 1 oz of weight, although I cant say if its from the carbon or lead.

Re: Feeding problems Dillon case feeder.
Glad you got it working. I checked mine out again and the best combination was small rifle plate, no spacer and moving the steel clip on the case feeder closed about a 1/2 inch. It did not drop a backward case for the 200 rounds I tested. The newer case feeders have an adjustable clip but the older ...

Re: Feeding problems Dillon case feeder.
Double check that. I have an older one and I thought it was fixed but it's a clip that can be slid back and forth.
