Re: 300 blk out hunting bullets

Like gds, I use the Maker Rex2 200gn and that's all I intend to use for subsonic hunting with the blackout. I have sent 4 at meat at ranges from 12yd to just over 100yd and have put 4 deer in the freezer as a result. After a good bit of testing with them I'd be hard pressed to recommend anything els...

What dies and what brass are you using? Just reading "stout lcf" send shivers down my spine, happy Halloween.

Re: Speer 125gr TNT - Great Deal Today

The 125tnt has been one of my favorite bullets since I got into this cartridge and I've been wanting to give the gold dots a try so this is perfect. Thanks for the heads up.

I'll never claim to have seen it all but I've never seen or known anyone to drill out a flash hole in blackout brass, or any brass for that matter.

Did you clean and deburr the inside after drilling?

Re: Recipe for Speer 125gr TNT

Guess no one else likes that bullet around here? I just ordered 2000 more for 13.5 cents each delivered. It’s my preference for a couple of different calibers. I've probably loaded 5 times as many tnts for my blackouts as any other bullet most likely. I found my load with h110 in the same range you...

Re: Chronographs

I could have got you a labradar cheap a few months ago! A guy at my range had one, he hated it. He screwed with that thing for an hour every time he brought it. I tried to help him with it once, and he offered to sell it to me for half its cost. I set up my $80 pro chrono, fired my ladder and was d...

Re: Chronographs

I transitioned from the magnetospeed to a labradar about 6 months or so ago and have not regretted it in the slightest. Like rebel said, it definitely comes with a little bit of a learning curve and some trail and error but once you're over that hill it's easy as pie to setup and run. I set it up pr...
