Re: Ultra short barrel review UPDATE: Velocity Data page 3
Two barrels from KAK are in, doing some dremel ninja work with extra ALG handguards I had around. Ammo from Ammo inc is in, some Federal subs incoming and a couple boxes of Discreet Ballistics. https://i.imgur.com/vRXm5M7h.jpg https://i.imgur.com/S95esxSh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Dmw01fth.jpg https:/...

Re: Ultra short barrel review UPDATE: Velocity Data page 3
WithoutRemorse, Great write up and photos. Thanks for posting the link. I may have an additional consideration you didn’t mention. In the interim, while I was waiting to do my own build, I put together a CMMG Banshee 22LR clone. The hand guard and overall barrel lengths are similar to these ultra s...

Re: Ultra short barrel review
Wanted to shoot unsuppressed at first to check keyholing, then had suppressor mount issues (my fault) so only ran a couple rounds suppressed with the V7. R2B will get run suppressed with subs next range trip once the veritas/slr and mc6-sd arrive. Also, ballistic advantage and another company releas...

Re: Ultra short barrel review
Okay, I’ve assembled everything and still waiting to hear some feedback on these barrels before I commit to one. Any updates from the “scheduled” 10-days ago  range trip? Tried to post while at Triggrcon, mobile login kept kicking me off  Range day was cancelled ~95 degrees. Just got...

Re: Mags falling out
I've had this problem on a few of my rifles, and fixed a few for others.
Almost always the solution is screwing in the mag release a turn or two
The few other cases were mags with a shallow (or bent flat if metal) engagement notch

Re: Ultra short barrel review
The response from Tim at SAS was to stay under 20K and/or 6" and above.
Again, I appreciate the education! That would have been an expensive mistake
