Re: Chamfering & Accuracy
Whether or not you see a change in accuracy, will depend on your ability as a shooter and hand loader. Seating the bullet straight is the goal. Flat edge to flat edge, is the hardest to seat. Chamfering & Accuracy
Curious if one would see an appreciable difference in 300 blackout accuracy by chamfering all cases? Debating whether or not I should add chamfering in to my reloading process. Ive chamfered before to minimize seating pressure with flat base bullets, but never with intent to improve accuracy. If I s...

Re: Pursuit of an inexpensive accurate super bullet - 125 tnt speer
Just swapped out the barrel to a 8.3” BA Hanson; so, working with limited data too. Curious if most folks find accuracy loading these bullets a bit hotter.

Re: Delving into sub-sonics
Thank you for the reply. Im loading for an AR. Wanting to pickup the quietest powder that will cycle an AR reliably. I’ll be using a Nomad 30 exclusively on it too. Probably wont be using cast bullets. What I have is about 1000 rounds of the Berrys 220 grain bullets that are copper coated. Will be u...

Delving into sub-sonics
Good afternoon! I have a DA Nomad 30 in jail currently, but should be coming soon and I may be visiting it at my transferring dealer’s range once I get my taper mount in. Im hoping to get recommendations on a solid performing powder for subsonic rounds. I have alot of W296 that I use for supers but ...

Re: Ejector Smear - Overpressure?
Another interesting thing that I noticed was that it only happened once every ten rounds or so. Not all of the fired brass had the smear.

Re: Ejector Smear - Overpressure?
Haven't heard back! Im guessing I should just back it off to 17 grains. Anyone top out at 17.4 grains in their semi auto rifles?
