Re: Long Range Rifle Scope suggestions under $2,000.00
You may want to consider a nice used one. With all of the new reticles that came out over the last year or so, they can be had for
considerably less than new. I landed a nice Kahles 624i a few months ago for 1800 including Tenabrex caps and shipping.

Re: Gun Industry news
Almost appears a investment group purchased a well established company, emptied the coffers, and are trying to leave the original owners and employees holding the bag

Re: Micro 7 ejection/extraction issues
Not a Micro 7, but had the same issue with a 700. We found that the case was hitting the scope base (EGW) as soon as it cleared the front opening of the ejection port.
Might be worth a look.

Re: Reading Wind
Obviously wind is in language I have yet to understand, but I need to get it figured out  Last weekend at Frontline Defense, at the longest stage, the 800 yd. flag and the 1000 yd. flag were straight out in opposite directions :x Wondering what would have happened if you shot for the middle....

Re: Down the rabbit hole I go!
During this build I've not had the greatest of luck with vendors, except the ones that post here. Tried to order a carbine buffer tube end plate only to have the vendor cancel the order and refund since they apparently didn't have it in stock as listed. Optic's Planet shipped me a 15" handguar...

Re: Prefered handgun.
My favorite has become my Sig 227, but carry a Glock 26 on a daily basis. Not a huge fan of Glocks, but, they do work.
