Re: Supressed home defense SBR???

Thank you. That is very insightful. Valuable stuff I will read a couple of times. It and posts from others are changing my viewpoints. Have you ever thought of teaching or assisting in. CCW classes? Your experience would prove to be valuable. I got a raw deal in court a couple times over small stuff...

Re: Supressed home defense SBR???

Nope. I used to work for the prosecuting attorney in my county, then later under another attorney who was a private firearms defense attorney. Attorneys will pretty much never argue about that nonsense. It's beside the point. We argue about whether you had good reason to fear for your life when you...

Does muzzle brake Affect Accuracy ?

Pretty much what the title says. Does the style of muzzle brake affect the accuracy of the round? The reason I'm asking, is because I have a dragons head muzzle brake, and wasnt sure if it was a detriment or just cool. My SBR is called Dragons Breath, after my daughter. With tracers, it's a fire bre...

Re: yeti cuts ties with NRA - refuses to sell products to the NRA foundation

I think (and hope) that the NRA can be fixed. If they head in the right direction, I will become one of their strongest supporters. I used to be. I just spent another 200 on a stamp for a can, and the one for the SBR took 14 months. The NRA has been around as long as the NFA. Not only did the NRA ha...

Re: yeti cuts ties with NRA - refuses to sell products to the NRA foundation

The NRA is the lobby. The very nature of the lobbyist is to compromise. There is no compromise with the Second Amendment is concerned. Keep compromising, keep negotiating our rights away, and there’s a mathematical fact we will have none in the end.

Re: Can the 300 BO use any 30 cal bullet?

I have just begun developing data for mine. Im using CFE BLK. The lehigh defense CF rounds grouped well at 12 or so grains. Supersonic happened at 12.2 by the sound of it. When I did a workup for the 168 grain Hornady, they didnt like flying subsonic st all, and the faster they went, the better they...

Re: Compressed CFE BLK 110 gr. ok?

I filled a case to see what it would hold flat, and it came to 24.2. Not far at all from their 23.7.

Compressed CFE BLK 110 gr. ok?

When reloading and you arent sure about something, STOP. Then ask around. Thats where Im at tonight. I got some 110 grain Hornady V-Max bullets, and went to hodgdon rifle data to look things up. Their OAL is 2.050. Mine is 1.985 because I wanted full neck contact on those short little bullets. Makes...
