Re: 3D Printed Chute for Cutting Down 223/5.56 Brass

Can you post some more pictures? Maybe of how the cases drop after trimming or a pic of just the 3d printed chute? I set mine up to feed from right to left, and I see you are set up left to right. Don't even know the name of the "jig" I use so not sure your chute will work for me but I lik...

Re: Reloading 100 grain 300 blackout

The only powder you list that is suitable for supersonic in 300BO is the 300 MP. While some may suggest 300 MP is similar to H110, I would not interchange load data between the two. I would start out at a load for a projectile that is the same approximate length at the Lupua 100gr, and closest to it...

Maybe the same bullet for both uses.........I would vote for the Speer TNT. It runs about .16 each before shipping charges.

Re: Light strike problems

Looks like you made a lot of changes and now you are "chasing your tail" as the saying is trying to figure out the light strike issue. First, I would try some factory ammo in your setup and see if you have the same problem. That way you eliminate the ammo issue. Second, I would suggest you...

Re: Report spam

I report them as well, as they are a PIA. I just feel guilty calling attention to them for the mods to have to deal with them.

Re: Looking for loads/bullets and may have solved my own? Sierra Varminter

I don't have any of the Sierra 110gn Varminters, but I did find 3 boxes of the 125gn Sierra soft points. From other's reports, they don't expand well at 300BO velocities but are accurate. I am set on using 150gn in my .308's, so they can join the range "stash" with a pile of the Remington ...

Re: Buying a gun - No CCW?

Picked up a S&W Shield in .40 the other day. My dealer made the same comment....."good thing you have a CHL, if not you would be going home empty handed" I thought the pistol might be a hand full, but actually shoots really well. Now loading the magazines....holy hell they have...

Re: Sizing problems 300BLK

I think it is a die adjustment problem most likely. If you get the sizing ball too low in the die it will bind with enough force to cause the rim to shear.

Re: Weight ranges for powders

I think powder selection is covered......at least I think it was covered in my past reading. Might not include some of the more recent offers like Socom or CFE Blk...... Heck when I got into 300BO, 300MP was not a common powder to find loading information on......except by experimenters! It was the ...
