Re: WTK: are these .30 Poly Coated Bullet any good for 300 BO
you're likely to get mixed results in an AR platform due to the profile and being able to feed, but i pretty comfortable they could be made to work just fine in a bolt/single shot. with a trailboss load under them you could have a stupid quiet sub load. it'd probably smack like a SOB too with that b...

just because its digital doesnt mean its properly calibrated.
check it on some known diamater good quality bullets and see what you're reading. that may help narrow down if you have a measuring device issue, which is really seems like you do.

Re: 190 SUB-X Feeding Issues
If you decide to move on from the CFE BLK, I would be interested in buying the 8lb jug from you. I will also buy the rest of the Sub-X bullets. I have been seating them at 2.05" and not having any issues. just remember, you cant ship powder without a hazmat license, so it'd have to be FTF. hat...

Re: why can't 5.56 be loaded with fast burning powder like 300 BLK?
I used to load subsonic 80 grain bullets in 5.56. I don't remember the load and even if I did I wouldn't put it here. But there are thousands of subsonic loads using fast powder. I do remember that I didn't use double base powder. subsonic rounds are a whole different animal. and as noted, its an e...

if its a standard spring and a 3oz carbine buffer - something else is wrong
i'd start with checking for a misaligned gas block, or a gas leak somewhere first.

Re: Barnes 120gr jacketed hollow point
I recently purchased some Barnes 120g jacketed hollow points FB. I had been looking for the 110 tac-tx ammo but there is none in stock anywhere. Do you think the hollow points would be okay to use for deer? I am new to this. probably not in the blackout. those are probably built for 308 speeds. we ...

sharpies man, right on the case.
you can write the powder type on one side or use shorthand
ie: LG 20.0 would mean 20 grains of lil gun, etc.
likewise for writting the bullet on there if you testing diff bullets or primers, etc.

Re: Neck Dings
you'll probably end up scraping your brass due to primer pockets getting loose before those fang marks will bite you with neck splits.
