Re: SBR Interstate transport

You've been reading too many ATF opinion letters.
Maybe you should read more of them.

Re: Home Defense Sub-Sonic Ammo

When i got my 9” AAC SBR and a can (762sdn6), my initial thought was similar to the OP’s. Subsonic and suppressed....a longgun i could shoot without blowing my eardrums!!!! After playing with subs in different loadings (Lehigh included), i just could not find a load that did what i wanted (good perf...

Re: SBR Interstate transport

Put a pistol brace on it and fly the friendly skies. Putting a pistol brace on a SBR does NOT make it a pistol. In order to be a pistol, it must have ORIGINALLY been a pistol. If you made your SBR put of a pistol, then it might be legal to turn it back into a pistol (IDK for sure). If it was a rifl...

Re: SBR Interstate transport

A 5320.20 is the correct form. I would doubt they are being processed with the shut down.

MG’s, SBR’s and SBS’s require an approved form to transport across state lines. Suppressors do not.

I would personally not travel without an approved form. Just not worth the hassle

Re: Binary Trigger

I think the binary trigger fires faster than a FA
Since a full-auto fires as soon as the bolt locks up again, the above is not possible. Fun none the less, im sure

Re: Sierra 220gr RN Question with cannelure

A few years ago i was given 200 of these bullets by a friend that sold his 30-30. I loaded em
For my 300blk and used the recommended OAL.

The cannelure was fully outside the case....normal for this bullet in this caliber.

Re: Sorry if this sounds uninformed but here goes anyway.

Also a run down of the NFA tax stamp process and what to expect would be appreciated as well. Fair warning.... NFA guns and gear are ADDICTIVE. With a short barreled 300blk, you WILL want a suppressor. Once you shoot that with subs and a can, you WILL want a 22lr can. It only gets worse from there....

Re: The Wait Is On

The Rem 220gn sub is loaded with the 220 Sierra match king bullet. Its a target bullet, not a hunting bullet.

No expansion at full speed, much less subsonic velocities.

The same goes for the 208gn Hornady A-max. Zero expansion.

To get reliable expansion in a sub, look at Lehighs stuff
