Want to, just got to find a good deal on hunting down there.

My mother-in-law lives in Llano, about 2-1/2 hours away from Austin.

Visited June 2010, and are planning on a 2012 trip.

Best Deer hunting load for 0-300 yards?

Looking for a load to use in my Noveske Rogue Hunter 16" 300blk for this upcoming hunting season.

I've been kicking around getting a 6.5g or 6.8spc but would prefer to stick with my 300 Blackout.

Deer around here are either Whitetail or Mule Deer.

Re: Lee dies

Is the Lee factory Crimp die for the 300 blk a taper crimp or roll crimp? Neither. Best description that I found on the internet: Lee rifle factory crimp die is neither a roll nor taper crimp -- it squeezes the case in mid-neck and applies a different kind of crimp entirely. Thanks for the info. Do...

Re: load data for Sierra 110gr hp Varminter

20.5 of H110 should give you the 2450fps out of the 16" barrel when I went to 21 it was a little hot for me but she did break 2500fps. Just to be safe you should work your way up from 19.5, 20, and then 20.5 just to be safe Ed Did that and had no pressure signs at 20.5, plan on working up some...

Re: Share your 300 Blackout Loads here>

Been lurking here a while trying to get my ducks in a row. After looking at a lot of loads, am I wrong in the assumption that H110 seems to be best all around powder for this cartridge? Want to buy propellant that can be loaded super and sub and I see it used for both alot. BTW, I have a few pounds...

Re: Hodgdon data:

Looks like they really played it safe on their loads and kept them shorter than is recommended for OAL's.

Oh well, guess I'll just stick with working up loads and watching for pressure signs.
