Re: Bayou Bullets .30 carbine 115 grain bullet in the 300 AA
Your problems are two fold with this bullet! One you'll have to run them to fast for a PB Bullet to get them to work in an AR (Poor accuracy). Two they are probably too soft therefore don't feed well (catching on feed ramp). The round nose cast lead bullets (130gn)I have tried feed fine i...

I got a box of .380 I am loading up now, no experience with others. They do suggest using cast lead loads, though.
Owned by one of the Miculek's (Donnie, a son I believe)(a brother I am told...lol).

I have never purchased a barrel with the barrel extension attached that was out of spec as far as headspace using a servicable bolt/carrier. I have never purchased a barrel without the barrel extension being already installed. Have ya'll experienced some out of spec barrels with extensions installed?

Re: 308 issues
Obviously, your necks or your projectiles are out of spec. My money is on the neck. A measurement is all it takes to confirm.
If nothing else, use your resizing/depriming die remove the depriming stem and resize the case and check the fit.

Re: Loaded ammo that won't fit Sheridan gauge?
Yep, it looks like you need a collet puller die and some time on your hands. I would check the length of the brass before you size it again and when you do resize it make sure your die is touching your shell plate. Some have reported that the shell plates have to be thinned a little to get a "f...

Re: 150gr 308 flat nose and IMR 4227
I bought some 308 150gr bullets. Listed as ACM flat point from a vender at a gun show. He recommended IMR 4227 and gave me the load data he uses. 15-15.1gr, 2.08 OAL for 1600 fps. With a don't pass 1700. He did not spec the primer. I have Winchester small rifle. I intend to use these to hunt the Wi...
