Re: Replicating the Barnes 110 gr. VOR-TX 300 Blackout Factory Load
Looks to me like your accuracy node is 19.7...which oddly enough has the worse "technical" numbers. Exactly why I scarcely give a crap about ES and SD numbers if I can get a repeatable accuracy node.

You might try Hoser . Not sure if was him or not, but he processes a lot of brass. Haven't seen him post here in a while, but he is still active on ar-15.co

Re: Sanity check me - 300 BO Kaboom from reload
[quote=BJK post_id=1006500 time=1607693932 user_id=74666 Frankly the potential is there for a double charge can happen no matter how I load. If I load on the progressive press if something happens in the load process I can get a double charge, but generally I know that's a possibility and address it...

Re: Bear Creek Uppers??
Got the upper back from BCA and tested the upper yesterday. Tried 2 rounds each of 4 different types of brass cased ammo: 1 - Magtech 123 grain FMJ 2- Hornady 110 grain V-Max 3 - Sig Sauer 120 Grain Elite 4 - HSM - 125 Grain Pro Hunter All functioned properly, including locking back the bolt on an ...

Re: What should I load based on this data?
My home defense load with Barnes 110 & lil'gun is 20gr. I bias towards power for this load with adequate accuracy. If I can make a head shot at 7yd and chest shot at 50yd, I'm happy. My plinking/training load for for 125TNT & H110 is 18gr. This gives adequate performance for those tasks whi...

Re: 300 Blackout - A Tale of Ten Loads
As a long time (Old Dude) shooter and reloader, the 300 BLK changed a few things for me; A) SD doesn't really mean much in an AR platform 300BLK... it's more about accuracy at a given distance. The old bolt gun/singleshot rules around SD don't apply to near the degree they used to when I was loading...

Re: 300 BLK OUT QUESTION
I would suggest not getting a handguard longer than your barrel. Usually a handguard an inch or 2 shorter than the barrel is what I go for. Now that could change if you plan on having a "pinned" muzzle device, or if you plan to run a suppressor all the time and you want the can mostly hidd...
