Re: New wave of 300BLK trolls???

Guys, I have a couple of 6,8s, a couple of BLKs, and a Spectre in progress. Am a member of the 6,8 forum and here as well. I don't find that either side is particularly tolerant of the other, but I don't find genuine animus either. Have killed game with both the 6,8 and 300 BLK. Both chamberings wor...

Re: CMMG barrels and headspace

Have rented reamers from 4-D, but didn't realize they also rented gauges for some reason. Thank you for the reminder! Checked the rifle the not so sensible way. Headspace is fine with the Stag bolt. Gas port is not big enough and the rifle is short stroking enough that it is not picking up the next ...

CMMG barrels and headspace

Guys, I have a 16" upper w a Paladin barrel that works fine. Have been playing with an 8.5" CMMG 1:7 Wasp bbl fitted to a Bravo Company flat top upper and a YHM middy length Light Rail. The tube has a TROS 5/8x24 to 3 lug adapter that just gets the nose of the barrel assembly out of the fo...

Re: help me pick a 30 cal can

I too have a 30 cal SAS Ti Arbiter TOMB can. I use it on a 20" 5.56, a 16" 6,8, an 18" 6,8, a 16" 300 BLK, and a 20" 308 Win bolt rifle.

Is simply a superb low noise and low POI change can!

Will buy another soon.

(Two is one ... one is none ... )

3 Form 1s for SBRs, a 9mm can and 2 45 cans. Should be starting to see completions in August and September.

Looking forward to fun in the fall.

Re: Nosler new 125 accubond

OK ... Accubond is an excellent projectile especially as the impact velocity increases.

Have folks seen the 125 gr NBT fragment at 300 BLK velocities? Certainly does at higher velocities ... but haven't seen that tendency with the 300 BLK.

Re: Dillon powder die

Can someone please describe the design of the powder funnel for me?

Is it like a 5.56 funnel but longer and with a bigger bore?

Anyone have some measurements?

Just can't bring myself to pay that much (as they are higher than others) for something I can make on one of my lathes with scrap stock.

Load data for 8.5" 1:7 Wasp??

Looking for subsonic load data for the CMMG 8.5" 1:7 bbl. Interested in 220 SMKs, 225 Hornady OTMs, and the 247 gr NOE cast projectile. BBL has 3 lug to fit an Octane 9 HD2 can.

I do not have 1680 available.

Thanks Guys!

Awaiting the second Octane 9 to make it to the local dealer and for two Octane 45s to become available for transfer to the local guy.
