Re: Missouri Bullet 247 Grain - Keyholing
Measured my barrel twist - I'm at 1:8 twist. When I pull back on my charging handle it seems pretty stiff. I'm going to see how it compares to factory manufactured ARs. I think I have the keyholing issues addressed by heavier powder charges. Gary Those 247's are a long slug. For subsonic velocities...

Re: Your best group
I haven't fired a single round of anything in what seems like a month of Sunday's. Have a few days off this week so hopefully I'll make it to the range.

Re: What's the best riflescope out of these and are these good prices?
Although I really like my Leupold scopes I'd shy away from the Mark AR. I used to own one and although the glass is clear the parallax is fixed at 100 yards. Over 100 yards it wasn't an issue but under it was. Just changing cheek wield I could see the reticle move almost 2" at 50 yards and had ...

Just stumbled on the same article this morning. So much for the Trump administration relaxing regulations.

First off without a chronograph you might as well be pissing in the wind. Also what's your barrels twist rate? A 1/8 will be borderline with those long bullets.

No need to clean sealed rifle cans. If you shoot a bunch of subs a half dozen supers will burn the carbon right out

Re: anyone on FB?
It was a decent page when it first started but has since gone to shit. Now its either know it all's or the same repetitive questions daily: Why's my brass getting dented at the mouth? My gun cycles factory ammo but not my reloads? What do I need to convert my 5.56 to 300? How cheap was your build? Y...

Re: CZs new 527 in 300BO
It's catalogued but when it actually hits the shelves is anybody's guess. I asked my favorite LGS about it a few weeks back and he didn't know either. One thing he did say is CZ is starting to make dealers take bigger orders then they want and not letting them cherry pick what they want to stock so ...

Re: This is seriously gonna cut into my shooting time
That's a nice looking bay boat. Shame you're about 400 miles from a bay. I wouldn't offer this for just anyone, but if you'd like I'd be willing to hang on to it for you so you don't have to haul it back and forth. Bay boats make for excellent bass boats too and can seat more people without bumping...
