Re: °MOA with my mount or not?

I only shoot subs... No moa rail needed at the ranges I intend to shoot. I went with a vortex viper 1.5 x 4 with the illuminated moa reticle, mounted in leu old 30mm qr rings and 2 piece weever bases. I am very happy with the combo for my intended use

Liberty Freedom / Rem 7 / 300Blk

Just picked up my liberty freedom, screwed it onto my by Delta Co model 7 300Blk, and hauled ass out of town far enough to pop off a few subs. This is the only suppressor that I own or have ever heard, so I have no point of reference regarding suppression level. I will say that to my untrained ears ...

Re: 200 gr lee mould. as opposed to the $100 NOE 247gr

Robert i think they are simply cut with a carbide cherry like most other molds out there. I have not heard of anyone using EDM to cut molds, although that would be exceedingly trick and bad-ass, i think it is likely cost prohibitive for most mold makers. I will say that the alignment pin design and ...

can you tell us what the other 5 primers were, or is that not kosher?

Re: Hodgdon data:

CUP is not a problem, and although it may not be the measurement standard listed on the SAAMI page for 300BLK, it is still a valid measurement standard occasionally used throughout the industry. Its really just a reference point anyway, and unless you have some pretty sophisticated testing equipment...

Re: magnum primers when loading H110 in 300 AAC BLK?

Go back to your starting load, and work back up with the magnum primers. Look for pressure signs as you go, and see if you get better shot to shot velocity, consistency and accuracy. . . . They should work fine, and may in fact be better. Your careful analysis should tell the tale.

Re: new build

Personally I wouldnt screw up a 788 / 222 by converting it to anything as they are a bit of a classic and are reportedly great shooting guns. That said, if you decide you want to go ahead and try it, I suspect that it would work fine. Any competent gun smith can do the barrel swap. As for the ejecti...

Re: COL for 220 gr SMK in the AAC Rem 700 barrel?

my barrel is fron Delta Co, so its kind of an apples and oranges thing, but I have been loading to 2.260 and could likely go a bit longer however that is about the limit for reliable feeding from the magazine.
