Re: Super bummed

I've been off work for a few weeks due to a severe leg injury so money has been tight. I has finally saved up enough to purchase the Kestrel 9 suppressor from the silencer shop....and guess what?? They no longer carry them!!!! Grrr. So I need and suggestion for similar price range $350-450. This co...

Yes, you have an older sight. the newer AA and 123 battery models wont have that problem. Aklance I wasn't referring to you when I said sitting elf needed to do better research. Take a deep breath....

Re: Trying to decide a CQB optic for a 300 SBR.

Thanks for all the responses guys! While reading your posts, I've also been doing additional deep research on not just the Eotech and Aimpoint, but on other options as well. Like one recent poster, I truly LOVE my Trijicon ACOG 6.8...but at 4X magnification, it wont help me in a CQB situation at 10...

Re: Trying to decide a CQB optic for a 300 SBR.

The EoTech battery life "problem" is just laughable. I'm talking real life here not fantasy ninja... The NEED to have your dot sight on 24 seven is one of those fantasy ninja things for 99% of the people on here. There was a guy trying to make the argument that he couldn't afford the .2 se...

Re: Your favorite trigger?

If I was just shooting off the bench then the SSA-E would be a great trigger. Since that isn't the intent of my AR's I find the SSA/G2G is as light as I want to go. I have the SSA in my BLK SBR and love it. I will go with a G2G in my next build after trying it at the Geissele booth at the Harrisburg...

Re: New: SilencerCo 300blk "Harvester" Subsonic Ammo

I have yet to shoot a deer broadside that the bullet didn't exit completely. I've hunted and taken deer with a 30-30, 280Rem,and currently use a 308. Even expanding ammo will exit.

Re: will subs cycle without suppressor?

If you have the rifle why aren't you simply trying it to see if it functions instead of asking questions here? My CMMG 8.5 pistol gas upper functions with and without the suppressor. You're taking it apart to measure the gas port, posting questions over multiple days...time to try putting a round in...

Re: I guess we all choose our battles, some just need to choose more wisely.

I had a discussion a while back on the requirements for a CWP ( concealed Weapons Permit). Here in Pennsylvania you get the application, fill it out (with references which they don't check, they use NICS) return to the sheriff with check for $35 ( I think that's the fee now...anyway in that area) fo...

Re: OPTICS QUESTION

LOL, I love the battery life discussions. Anybody who chooses an optic solely on battery life because they have to "save the 1/4 second" it takes to turn on their dot, and isn't "parachuting into Afganistan" needs to do a reality check. EoTechs don't "eat batteries" .
