Re: Forum problems
Well, apart from the Russian and Chinese traffic (which is obviously illegitimate) perhaps the emergence of the new UMC ammo is generating renewed interest in 300 BLK.300Blk wrote:Basically, it means usage is unusually heavy.

Re: Bullet Mfg. and Weight Vs. POI
Interesting. I have heard the 150 gr class bullets fall about 3" low at 50 yds. compared to the 110 gr-125 gr bullets. If these Fiocchi 150 gr bullets are right in there with those others, it may be a viable option for "consistent" target practice, at least for closer ranges. What say...

Re: Announcing - the new 300 BLK UMC - 120 grain.
Well it LOOKS pretty...hows it shoot? O.K. Shot 2 boxes of this new load through my AAC 16" AR at 30 yds. at an indoor range yesterday. Good stuff. Very accurate and consistent. 3-shot groups had overlapping holes. This was the most accurate of the 5 factory, supersonic loads I tried. Perfect ...

Wal Mart uses their own system. We've had some WM employees who actually work at WM DC's post here before to report/explain how things happen.

Re: Fun with Gel, 300blk and Lehigh Defense 194g subs!
I have you to thank for the advice on shot placement. Everything went perfectly. Had to be real patient with this nervous one for about 10 minutes, but it all worked out and paid off. Since it wasn't a trophy buck, I didn't bother with pictures. Had it unloaded at the nearby deer processor exactly 6...

Got a nice (lone) doe this morning at about 50 yds. Broadside, angling away. Entered through mid-ribs, passed through heart and exited behind opposite shoulder. Went down within 20-25 yds. Exit wound was about the size of a quarter. From a recent water jug test I did, running down the middle of each...
