Re: Equipment Life Span Question
don't worry about back up dies but sometimes it is nice to have another bullet seating die set up for calibers that you use different shape/weight bullets for. it just keeps you from having to re adjust the die for when cranking out different loads. the 300 BLK is a prime candidate for this. ie load...

Re: Equipment Life Span Question
I still have die sets that I bought in the mid '70s. just the other day I retired & replaced my .45 acp die set because I broke the expander plug rod and they are no longer made. I am still using the same Lyman Turret press that I bought back then. reloading equiptment is all pretty durable and ...

Re: Safes. getting ready to buy one and looking for advice
I have a Cannon and a Treadlock safes. my Cannon has an electriconic lock and I hate it. some times I have to do the combination a couple of times before it will open. if it won't open after 3 times you have to wait 10 minuets or so before it will let you in. I live in fear of it crapping out and ha...

Re: How about adding a way to attach pics?
after I select a file and press open, no file number is posted in the box on tinypics so when I click upload nothing happens. I must really be a dumbass but I don't have any problems posting pics on the other sites I am on. I will keep trying.

Re: How accurate is a Magnetospeed ?
I recently bough t a Magno speed chrono. it is great for rifles as long as everything near the muzzle is straight. I can't figure out how to use it on an auto pistol and I almost destroyed it on a customized SKS. the readings seem a little high but that might be because it reads so close to the muzz...

Re: Handload for 150gr Rn hornaday interlock?
since that is my favorite hunting bullet for my .30/06, and I have several hundred on hand, I loaded some to test when got my 300 BLK. I loaded them with H-110 supersonic. they shot and functioned fine. I recently got some 4227 to experiment with the heavier bullets but havent had a chance to load a...

Re: Hornady 110gr soft point
my loading for the Hornandy 110 S.P. chronos 2308 fps out of my 16" barrel. I killed one hog (100lbs +) with a body shot to see what it would do. the bullet went a little high and went thru the shoulder blade and ribs, nicked the spine just inside the chest cavity[img][img][img][/img][/img][/im...
