Ruger American Ranch Rifle. 16" Barrel, I think it is 1x8, but it is in the safe right now.

Re: SB braces...

I have one on my 9mm AR pistol and I really like it better than the blade I did have on it. It works very well. I am trying to get another one for my blackout pistol right now.

Re: Lee 309-230 Mold final verdict?

I have spent the last few range trips playing with this bullet. Load is 11gr of 1680, seated to the crimp groove, CCI 41 primers, neck sized brass and finally the Lee FCD to take the slight flare out of the case. Lube has only been LLA. Speed over chronograph is 1140fps. Rifle is a RARR with flush m...

Re: 300BLK Pistol - Slabside???

I run a DPMS slabside on my 6.5 Grendel and have no issues. I didn't put one on either of my blackouts, but that is just because I didn't have another one.

Re: Ejection pattern is 1:00 o'clock way over gassed?

They do not make a heavier rifle buffer. And I assume if you're using a full size rifle stock that you're also using a full size rifle buffer. If you are, and from your earlier description sounds like it, you may need to use a heavier spring. I recommend the Tubbs/Superior Shooting Flat Coil/Chrome...

Re: Ejection pattern is 1:00 o'clock way over gassed?

So they make a H2 buffer for a rifle buffer system? I will look for one. I looked at the brass and there is a dent in the middle of the case on the ones that went to 1 o'clock position, the others that sent to the normal areas have dented mouths as I normally see.

Ejection pattern is 1:00 o'clock way over gassed?

So, I put a new noname barrel on my rifle, 16" with pistol gas, M16 BCG, A2 style buffer and extra power spring. Load is 110gr Nosler, 22.5gr CFEBlk, 2.130 OAL. It does not have any sort of flash suppressor or muzzle brake on it yet. I shot some factory 220gr and they all went to 4:00-4:30 posi...

Re: RARR/ Stock Options

I would love to see the pics, but photobucket strikes again. I was having similar problems with mine. I switched to a Boyds stock for the American model. When i called Boyds and spoke with them at the time, they were not sure if it would fit the RARR as it was made for the American. All things consi...

I thought it was Scottish myself. They wear kilts because a sheep can hear a zipper a mile away.
