Re: Powder Stacking in Subsonic Non-compressed Loads

Basically someone has a crap powder/bullet combination that he is trying to make work. THIS!!! 10-15 years ago getting sub-sonic loadings in 308 was difficult, and dangerous if not done with extreme care. The powder industry just did not have any good offerings for it. As mentioned above, Secondary...

Not able to open PM's

I've received a strange notice when trying to open a PM:
You are not authorised to read private messages that are on hold.
Yes that misspelling is in that notice. Anyone else get this, or know what it is?

Hey OGs, Ya think any of the Nae sayers came back with new names?

OK Old Guys (OGs), 300blk launched at a bad time, politically speaking. There were parts shortages, non-existent commercial ammo, and reloading components were near impossible to get. It made things "difficult". Plus there was a faction of people that wanted, and campaigned for, the failur...

Re: 300blk Getting more popular, even the media is mentioning it.

This is proof that it's just a boutique round. R.Silvers spent a million dollars for product placement in a TV show for crying out loud. Who's R. Silvers? Robert Silvers was the person AAC tasked with developing the 300blk. He is also the head honcho of this forum. During the early days of the cart...

Re: New Player in the Captured Spring Market

I've more or less given up making one. I never could get it to close a bolt that was eased closed. There just was virtually no "push" left at the near closed point of the bolt. I wound up using a brake hone to smooth the inside of the spring tube.

Re: 266 grain cast bullet, the Dolomite special

Has anyone thought of hollow point options? Or is that counter to trying to get the heaviest heavy out there? Probably a little bit of both I am sure. There has been a lot of people aking about the hollow point, Dolomite tends to listen to what people want. My contribution to the project is just be...
