Re: New /old mold

Hello Tony,

I used a proper sized brand new drill and my drill press as a fixture but turned by hand. This was an aluminum mold. Utmost in care its dead flat level and your perfectly aligned.

Re: Hodgdon Lil Gun

I stopped using lilgun in most applications. I saw some pressure spiking. Hangfires and of coarse the excessive heat. To me lilguns asset is top velocities. Ill take the <35-50 fps and be just as happy. I reserve it for my 410 shotgun and 22 Hornet 35g loads. 296/H110 does everything I need as a rep...

Re: Lee 321-155-2r

I have had good luck with this bullet. I find it shoots touching holes with a number of powders. COL is determinant upon your gun cycling. As we are talking cast loads here we are not pushing pressures or any where near compressed loads. Frankly some of my best loads are found 1400 vel Ranges. IMR 4...

Re: Traditions outfitter g3

Hello MossyMan, These firearms have been very good performers. I havent owned one but wouldnt hesitate. As for threading yes industry standard bore concentric is assumption. Id talk to manufacturer for specifics. I have owned a couple H&R's made for AAC when the cartritage was brandy new. Mine n...

Re: Starting new project/build

Nice thread! Your learning the attributes of our favorite lil 300! I was zeroing a new Primary Arms 30mm 1-6 optic on my "hunting" AR in 300 BO. My hand loaded Speer 130 fp's clocking 2025 went into touching holes dead on @100 made me smile. The dot POA is very precise. I was able to see t...

YES!

ANY cases made by forming from another REQUIRE it! Its always helpful other wise and seldom a poor choice.

Here is how I do it.

Re: Question re Hornady 135FTX and MonoFlex 140

I have seen good results concerning accuracy and velocity with the FTX and H110/296 & MP300 powders. The MP won out for me. Accuracy on par with my best loads and velocity surpassing some 125g loads. MP 300 has not failed to impress in my Bolt. In the AR its a wash with H110/296 because of press...

Re: Bolt Gun Loads for Heavy Bullets

How about a 250g Arsenal Cast bullet on top of IMR4198 @ 1075?

Re: Look for help on loading MP-311-410 mold

I use the Lyman (original) mold with good success. I also powder coat.

Next to the Lee 155-312-2R it is a go to bullet.

No issues using it here.
