Exactly my thoughts. Hence the question to the masses here. More info makes for better decisions.
LGS talk is always suspect... Sigh

Re: Anyone Out There have experience with IMR 4227 & 150 gr.
Hmmmmm... I just loaded some 125gn TNT's over 17 gns of 4227. The bullet JUST touched the powder in the case with a COAL of 2.072 I know thats short but want max case holding the bullet at the neck. My normal 125gn load is Hornady SST crimped into the canallure (2.097) I would think based on a 150 f...

W296 needs mag primers???
I was at my LGS a cpl days ago and overheard someone talking about 300 blk loads. He was saying that W296 (and im guessing H110 as well) need magnum primers for consistant ignition. My load of 296 with a 125gn bullet had some pretty extreme spreads in velocity. Would mag primers help with this. Nosl...

Re: New Remington 300 BLK UMC Subsonic ammunition.
Had 5 boxes of this stuff show up at my LGS. $17/box. Brought it all home as stocking stuffers for ME  All the rounds have a HEAVY crimp in them. No bullet movement in or out I gotta say though.... Its not up to Remingtons usual QC standards. The brass is UGLY. The bullets look like seconds...

Re: Unique in 300blk?????
Im running both a 16" with a carbine gas system and a 9" AAC upper. Bullets would be either 208Amax or 220 gn boat tails. I guess i could load some of my 175gn match bullets if that all that would work Im trying everything i can find powder-wise to get a functioning subsonic load. I just C...

Unique powder in 300 blackout?
I was in my LGS and talking to a guy in there. He says he uses Unique powder to load subsonic round in 300 blk.
Anybody have reliable loading data for this combo?
Im thinking 208 or 220 gn bullets
Any thoughts?

Accurate 2200???
Anybody tried to work up a subsonic load with 2200? I found 4 cans and snapped em up. The powder drought around here is killing me. So far ive got 10.5-11 gns with a 208 Amax to function the gun with no signs of pressure. Its pretty dirty though. After recovering the cases from the snow in my backya...

Re: My go to load
Both to make use of the cannilure and to set the bullet farther into the case for better stacking in the magazine.
Feeds great.. No real accuracy testing yet. Winter has set in but im guessing around 3/4 - 1 moa based on the shooting i have done
