Re: Help me understand Hodgdon reload data

What powder weight would be good using Lil Gun and rem primers with the hornady 130SP's and Nosler 125 ballistic tip's.Looking for accurate deer hunting load.Got lots of W-296 and H-110 also. Will any stick powders work as well as these ball powders.

Re: When will 300 BLK become the second most popular AR cart

An ACR with folding stock in 300BLK would help making it number 2 and be hard on my wallet but it sure would be a lot of fun.

Re: NOE

For those wanting to get into casting without spending a lot a stainless steel pot around 3 to 4 inchs deep and around 5 inchs wide on a hot plate works well.I can get my alloy up to around 700 degrees and it stays clean in a SS pot.A rcbs ladle with a fin to wipe the surface clean then scoop full w...

Re: Hardcast subsonic

I got a 3 cav and it works great,2 PB and 1 GC.I use MML lube. There is a good read over on the castboolits.gunloads.com site under boolit lube.Does lube affect accuracy. There are a lot of opinions on the subject.I've tried a lot and MML works great for me.You can probably get some from Mike(357Max)....

Re: Hardcast subsonic

I've haven't tried cast in an AR.With a levergun it is usually best to fill the throat and that is often around 3 thou over groove diameter.I size .311 and get 1 inch groups at 100 yards with soft and hard boolits. If the sized boolit will fit in fired brass from the same rifle it isn't too tight.One...

Re: 300blk SCAR SBR

The only scar I'd be interested in is one in 300BLK.I'd like to get the Scar H if it wasn't so expensive and hard to get.I think it is THE piston rifle. It's too bad every time something very good comes out its hard to afford and they act like they don't want to make any money offering it to the civi...

Re: NOE

I cast some with half pound tin,3 pounds lino and around 16 pounds WW and they came out very well filled out and weighed 232 grains plain base and 229 grains GC.They were falling out of the mold and I had a bunch done in a few hours using my promelter.I'll try a dipper next time.Don't need to,just w...

Re: Cleanest burning powder for SubSonic?

I hope Vitt N-110 works.I use it a lot when I'm wanting a clean burning, accurate powder in a mag sixgun.I have the other powders but N-110 is very clean burning. It lights a lot easier in cold weather also.

Re: When will 300 BLK become the second most popular AR cart

It wouldn't surprise me to see it become number 2 within a year with more states like MI legalizing suppressors.I was thinking 6.8 but changed my mind the day I heard MI came onboard.I've got dies, bullets, and NOE boolit mold. When DCA upper comes in I'll be one happy camper.I see it mainly as a sub-s...
