Re: Ruger SR556 takedown w/ optional .300bo barrel
Anyone else picked one of these bad Jacksons up? I'd be interested in hearing if other people are seeing similar reliability results.

Re: 182 gr "heavy ball" 7.62 Russian bullets for subsonics?
I used a bunch of these awhile ago. Don't remember where I got them.
Anyway they mostly mic'ed at .3095" and most loaded fine. Some, depending on the brass, were a little fat and didn't chamber too well.

Re: Accurate LT-30 Subsonic Data
Yes, I'm still around. I'm working on making my own jackets and the 115 grain supers. I'm hoping to get the price down around $150 per 1000. But all this takes money for machinery, that's why it's taking a while. Once I get them up and running, I plan on getting the expanding subs down to around th...

Re: Accurate LT-30 Subsonic Data
Is blackoutbullets.com still operating? I tried to visit the website earlier and got an error message. His Facebook page hasn't been updated since November of last year. I hope he's still around because I liked his 220gr flat based and think his 115gr supersonic showed potential.

[edited - Danial Defense has 300 BLK ammo now]
While I'm glad to see another manufacturer selling ammo, this is what I'm talking about. Nobody, or very few people anyway, are going to spend $50 on a 30rd box of ammo.

Re: Hackathorn: 300BLK Fades, Joins 6.8
Why does everyone expect BLK prices/availability to be the same in only 5 years of official existence? I never said I expected 300BLK to be priced like some of the other ammo out there. I, like most of you, reload my own so I'm fairly immune to factory ammo prices . What I'm saying is that for 300B...

Re: Hackathorn: 300BLK Fades, Joins 6.8
Hackathorn says he "kind of" gets the 300BLK as a suppressed platform and doesn't badmouth it per se. But he does say he doesn't have much use for the cartridge. I don't know if the 300 will fizzle out but I also don't see it really going mainstream either. As long as cheap factory ammo st...

Re: Inexpensive 115 grain HP projectiles
Sorry to see these didn't work out It isn't that these "don't work" but rather they don't work for what I was hoping for. I was hoping for a bullet that would be a good and inexpensive alternative to the pricey 110gr defensive bullets out there. Something that would offer similar velociti...
