Re: Compressed loads?

It s either a poorly worded question or a trick question. Basically being unfamiliar with the cartridge. It’s impossible to have any kind of rule for loading this cartridge other than any load ca go sideways and ruin your day. At last count I have used over 30 powders and 100 bullets, probably more...

OK, care to share load data, like powder and bullet weight? I'm not new to reloading. Been doing it for 40 years. Just new to 300 Blackout. Better powder choice? What?

Compressed loads?

Is it a fair statement to say that most all 300 blackout loads are compressed? I've only loaded 85 grain, 110 grain, and 125 grain so far, all supersonic, but it seems that these loads are either compressed or the base of the bullet is resting against the powder charge. I'm not even at max. using H1...

Thank you sir.

Re: Makers 85 trex and 190.

Thanks, I'm using a Daniel Defense upper with a 10.3" barrel. Suppressor's in jail. Ordered the end of August, so I'm guessing late next summer or early fall. These DD barrels have a 1/8" twist. On Makers website there is a message on the 220 weight to use 1/7". So I figured if I drop...

Makers 85 trex and 190.

Looking for load data. I've got 1680, 296, 110, and Hornady BLK to play with. Finally found my reloading bench after a summer of chores and stacking tools on it. Anyone done up these loads with this powder?

Magnum Primers?

Sorry, I tried searching the word primer and got 437 pages. After about 15 pages I gave up. Downloaded Hodgdon's data for the 300 Blkout Their specs call for magnum primers. Do you all use magnum primers? I plan on using H110, W296, & CFE BLK. Probably some tight group and other pistol powders f...

125 gr. Fiocchi sst.

Got out and sighted in my pistol today. Running a Daniel Defense 10" upper. Started at 25 yrds. 5 shot 1 hole group. Moved it to 50, 10 shot group you could cover with a quarter. Plus the brass is reloadable. Sgammo had some in stock the other day. I ordered 15 boxes.
