Re: Cheap lesson and rant
As far as I know, all .223/5.56 is small primer. What you are running into is the fact that they have a primer crimp ring that you have not swaged or reamed out. Most military ammo has a primer crimp ring to hold the primer in, and if you don't remove it somehow, you will not be able to re-insert a ...

Re: resizing 7.62x39 zmax
I am resizing the Hornady .310 123gr V-Max (essentially the same thing, but with a red tip instead of neon green tip). I am using the CH4D bullet sizing die , and it works awesome. I have resized ~800 or so bullets, and it is great because during the panic I was able to buy and resize any bullet fro...

Re: Good/Bad brass quick reference list - sticky please?
KFA .223 REM - 0.015"-0.019" Sampled 10 or so of 40. I acquired ~40 or so of this brass from a range where the guy shooting didn't reload so gave it to me. I converted it with the pile of mixed headstamp brass because for me it is all just plinking anyway. Went to shoot it, and all of the ...

Re: Looking for a replacement plinking bullet for the M80
I have been buying the Hornady 123gr 7.62 (.310"dia) V-Max bullets for ~22ish cents each and resizing them down to .308"dia. using my CH4D bullet sizer. I use them for punching paper, and they are made to expand at blackout velocities, so they should be good for hunting.

Re: Harbor Freight User/Lee dies question
Yeah, I initially tried to door the 147gr M80 pulls, but even moving from a standard to H1 and then to an H2 buffer, I still got light CHS. I now shoot 110gr - 125gr with the H2 buffer and have no issues. I also bought the CH4D .308 bullet sizer and resize 123gr 7.62 (.310) bullets and shoot them as...

Re: Drill Master Cutoff Saw
From a post a while back regarding the HF saw: The 3 pack of replacement blades (P/N: 42805) can be bought in the store or on line, but the drive belt is a different story. You can only order it over the phone. It is not available on line or in the store. Someone gave me the part number and I ordere...
